Gorgeous Guy.

Think I would have sacrificed the side windows for some soffit mid-fields.

Would you mind posting dimensions or sending me a note through my site?

Looks great!

Thanks,

thanks steve,
No Need to sacrified the side windows (they help to get a great panoramic view on the recording room) as the designer designed the room so a soffit main-speakers could be located above the side windows.
the control room is at maximal legnth ca. 7m² and maxsimal width ca. 5m² maximal hight is 3.2m² although the actual ceiling is higher than this.

Nice... thanks for the reply.

All that glass doesn't create a problem?

Was your designer an acoustician or a known studio designer? (not just an architect)

Roman Magis designed my new space, he his studio designer (not just architect) he also designed every thing there from electricity to acoustic to audio cabeling.
the glass creat absolutely no problem, the control room designed as a "live-ende dead-end" and there are few materials used as surrface, the sound in the mix position is not dead sounding (if i talk etc...) which sound very nice and natural ,but when the music comes from the speakers it is amazingly tight and very very flat response!

Hi all,

Here is mine. Fran Manzella www.fmdesign.com designed it which proved to be a challenge due to the fact we had to severely modify the second floor of my house. You'll have to click on the "Equipment" tab to see the back of the control room.

Thanks,
Ted.

Thanks Randy,

The desk is great! The more you work on it the better it gets and I have next to zero issues with it which is great. The 3's weren't powerful enough. We have the Mark II 5's now and they're great especially after Hodas got through with them. You can listen all day long at good volumes and never get fatigued and translation is no issue. Between those and the NS-10's, which for some reason sound amazing in this room, coupled with a 7071 Genelec sub and Bryston power we're in good shape. If there is a mistake it's pretty much not the monitor's fault... I look to see you out here soon.

Best,
Ted.
