My Roland Dimension D.

Bought one years ago in exellent condition, the nicest you'll ever see considering it's age. It does something special that nothing else can do, at least I have'nt found anything that can do what it does.

This is one piece I'll NEVER SELL

I would easily get rid of every single piece of gear in the moment I find something that sounds clearly better ... even if at the moment I consider it the very best so far.

2-LA2... it sounds so beautiful... plus it'll keep me warm in the winter!

Also my Rode NT2... discontinued... works well and provides an in your face crispy sound... If too crispy, I can darken/smooth it out by running it through a 6176/610 tube preamp...

A Latch Lake micKing 3300 is probably the one gear amenity I always use and could never replace. After that, it would be my Shunyata Hydra power conditioner, which is also in constant use.

My acoustic, my Tele, and '64 Deluxe Reverb (that's "one" of each isn't it?). The rest "could be expendable" if necessary (though my wife claims I have WAY too much stuff!). But these are my fave writing/recording tools.

simple. well, not. the topic was "1" piece of gear...but since everyone else took liberties

SSL FX G384 compressor, and my pair of lexicon 224x (yep, the original ones with the blue remotes) reverbs...they sound delightfully gritty and silky all at once...
