I got one! it's a C1 as I hate the C2, I was at Sunset Sound when the kid there plugged in the C2 and I almost barfed at what it (shrill, harsh overtones) did to my mix! he quickly plugged a C1 in and everything was fine.
Oh, they plug into the wall.

software plugins suck.

Hey Jules . . . as you probably know, I'm not a digital guy . . . but I do use Pro Tools on occasion. When I do, I always feel like some of the ddl / reverb plug ins sound pretty good, some of the eqs sound pretty good . . . . but the one thing I always hated were the compressors. Have they got the compressors to where they are happening now?

I'm glad someone else has heard the difference. I was beginning to think it was just me. I love the C1 and am not so thrilled by the C2 except for drum subs. I like the SSL most of all, though.
