Control 24 and 5.1 Surround Mixing

Just got a Control 24 and I'm wondering if anybody here is doing surround mixes monitoring monitoring through the CT. For stereo I have a DAC-1 but I'm not sure how to go about Surround...L/R front to DAC to CT24, everything else out of 192 into CT 24? Also is there anybody here using the Submixer in any useful way?

I use the submixer for sources like MAC/PCs internal soundcard, radio, DVD audio, ie. everything that is not going to be in the recording chain. I feed the submixer outs into a Aux input pair on the C24 for monitoring.

For surround, you'll either need 2 extra DAC-1's (6 channels), or skip the DAC-1 and use 6 outputs on your 192. A DAC on two channels and the 192 for the rest would cause trouble, since the latency in the DA's are not the same.

Thanks Steins, I guess I'll have to go with more DACs then.
