I am now owner of this microphone..anyone have experience with them?
the tube is ac701..

It is a KM54 with a larger tuchel connector. If the nickel capsule is in good shape, they are great microphones.

I'll never sell mine! Killer on acoustic guitars and actually an occasional vocal too.
Wanted another one for a stereo set. I wouldnt put it near loud sources i.e. drums, always use a windscreen to protect the fragile nickle diaphram.

When I power down any tube mic, I give at least 10 min before I disconnect the
cables from the mic. Use care when moving any tube mic while its powered on
as I've been told the filament is hot and its fragile as well...I'm probably overcautious but thats the way its been explained to me so...
