Hello everybody!

I own the console this thread started with and I want to sell it.

It' s a LDC 35 I found out, not 25 or 15 like I thought for a long time.

I got it customized for our studio use with a tt pb and extended it to 28 channels.

So it has now 28 channels and 8 groups (4 x stereo - we used one pair as master)
It' s really in good shape, just far to big for us as we mainly used it for summing.
It comes with a lot of spair parts too like extra channels and group modules.

Anyone who' s really interested please send me a message with your email and I' ll send you pictures.

the desk is super heavy and needs to get picked up in central berlin germany.

Cheers!

Bought a LDC25 24/4 from Helios67 3 years ago, it's a beauty, sounding great, mixed and tracked a lot on it. Needs some tlc and a steady hand sometimes, but hey, it 40 yrs old! at this price level nothing is even close...so go guys! If anyone have some modules (comp/lim/eq etc) for this desk, please shout out....

Got one. Need tecno-archaeological info.....

Does anyone here have access to schematic for the EL3671 preamp/fader module?

In return you could get the written information on that module (specs/schematic description) - and the schematic for the EL3675 Passive EQ... Plus whatever I manage to find...

Hi danbir.

It's a Philips ldc preamp/eq module. I have a console (ldc 25) with these modules, mine are from 75/76.
Great sounding!

Looks very similar with the ones i've got in my md12 console but i've got them in blocks by 4.
Maybe it could help you to have a look at the MD12 schematics on page 68.
Just a heads up, the schematic isn't 100% correct compared to the actual EQ. But it maybe can be helpful for you.

best

Philips LDC 15

Nice thread about the philips console! I'm looking for a LDC 15, preferably a small one with 12-16 channels. Does anybody have one for sale or knows someone who want to get rid of it? Please let me know!

If you have deep archives, I'd be very interested in seeing any kind of documentation on:

- EL3671 input preamp/Fader module

- EL3675 Equalizer module (I have a schematic on this one)

- EL3673 Send/Pan module

- EL3656 Channel assembly/backplane module

Hi Jakob,

Sorry, I only have docs for modules named LDC..
Seems you are looking for info on older modules.
I will ask around. Who knows.

Take care

Here's some basic signal flow pics of the LDC15/25/35 that I've sent to Jedd.
Might be of help to others as well.

Is the console exported from Holland?

There are still some people in Holland who have that type of documentation.

Is this from the LDC 25?
I have some schematics but have not itemised them.

Hi Jakob,
they are there...but good luck...!
I'm actually quite sure you had the EL3675 schematics from me.
I sent many messages with lots of patience to get it from the person who have access to all of them (BazzyB here on gearslutz). Then I shared it to one person and I guess it was given to other persons. This person told me they don't want to share anything, so again I wish you quite a bunch of luck and patience!!
The best thing I guess would be trying to reach member sonicdom who own the console having these modules.
I think all the docs was with the console from a picture I saw when he bought the console.
If you are able to get them and mr sonicdom agree it would be real nice to share it on this thread in order to help other people!

Does not compute - why would anyone try to keep such info secret?

..But thanks for the pointers (and for the EL3675)..!

I'll post info here when I find it - I may have tracked down a full console with documentation to a studio in Poland..

Yes weird for a console from the 60's!
It is good sounding but quite clear, not Neve like IMO...
And the thing is they are FULL! of BC caps, recapping 3 strips costed me more than 300€, special values-big caps. So imagine the whole console!
Good luck!

Schemtics for Philips Gear

Hi there,

I am also looking for schematics and infos on some Philips devices. I am not used to gearslutz, so perhaps I could find them here, but I did not find anything right now.
I need infos for following devices:

Philips EL3675 EQs
Philips EL3671 Fader/Preamps
Philips LDC 0850/00 Preamps/Amps (I think they have multiple purposes...)

For the Philips LDC 0850 I need some infos about the feedback and input resistors. I think, it is somehow like a Telefunken V672 - Gain-adjustment through different feedback-resistor values.

I would be very glad if someone could help me.
