Kings X and Michael Wagener?

I just read somewhere that Michael might be or is working with KIngs X. Is this true?

I hope this happens and a record comes out of it. Kings X are a great band. Some of the later albums haven't been as good and have suffered sonically in my opinion.

I would say the people want a classic sounding Kings X record. In the veign of Gretchen, their best album in my opinion.

I am not saying copy what they have already done but try to get that vibe again. Todd F.

This is a great thing for sure. I am kicking myself in the ass for not being able to attend this one.

Anyone who is thinking about attending should not hesitate. Michael is one the nicest people I have ever met and full of great knowledge. The most important thing is his willingness to share his experience!

King's X moved to Metal Blade and has had a healthier
career as an indie IMO (also in the opinion of one of the
bandmembers), even though they have sold fewer records.
I've seen them about 15 times, including
Woodstock, and their recent show at the Whisky was
one of the best -- I was standing next to Ray Luzier (one
of L.A.'s top hard rock/metal drummers -- I am somewhat
acquainted with him & have jammed at the Cat Club with
him) and we were elbowing each other or doing that musician's
"OMG, did you hear THAT???" laugh every time they would
hit a slammin' groove while doing 3-part harmony...
