Sure it is but I'm not lacking in the resonance department on my floor tom. I do have iso hoops on my other toms...

Why, yes! Just as we all have ass holes, we all have opinions.

Not sure how you came to suspect that a few people's experience with odd size toms is tantamount to fact. I haven't seen a fact posted anywhere in this thread, for that matter, except that we all have opinions...

I've got a 10", 12" rack tom with a 14" floor tom set up, along with a 20" and a 22" kick. The 22" kick is what's usually set up.
