An advice...

Hi everyone,
i will enter in studio to record a R&B/Pop vocal. For this kind of singer, i use to use this technique : a Brauner VM-1 KH in omni and a Chandler Tg2 using a Quick Sound Field technique with Tube Traps ( ASC ) in a large room. But this time, i can't do what i want and i have to play with the gears of this studio. Here is the listing of gears available : U47, U67, M147, API 512C, Tube Tech MP1 A, VINTECH Classe A and a little room. I would like to know your opinion about the way to work in order to get the sound i reach with my usual technique.

Your usual chain is very nice especially with the Brauner mic.

You have a good choice to use without your setup.

should be no problem getting a good sound with your choices.
