I have tried searching IZCORP.COM basically their website

And there is nothing, does anyone know what happened?

Wow, you’re right. Shame if they’ve gone under.

It changed hands a few years ago, and the new people didn't seem to have it as together as the original folks. Its a shame.

Yep. Was just commenting the same in a similar thread. Barry has a website called a SolidAudio.com for tech help with Radar but apparently there is no IZ anymore.

Radar Studio was a stupid idea IMHO. People bought Radar to get away from DAWs. I really enjoyed using Radar V for many years.

Now I am back in DAW land and it’s a drag.

That would be a shame if they went under. I own an ADA II and the sound is just incredible! I know the site has been down and come back before, it might just be a fluke.

No I do not. I don’t know who can even answer that question. Perhaps Barry.

I was simply saying I thought that straying from what they did best was a bad idea on IZ’s part. Not that it killed them.

Ah, gottcha.

Barry sold the company (after several years of trying from what I heard...)

That's better than the new owners already closing shop.

Regarding Radar Studio....

I was talking with the studio where I used Radar for many years, and the owner was saying he just wanted a 2nd Radar studio so they could go back to having 48 tracks at once.

He also told me that you can boot up Radar’s OS or a Windows type OS for Pro Tools, Mixbus etc...

He rated the stability of the Radar OS at 90% and the Windows type OS at about 70%.

The last time I used Radar was at his studio and they had 48 tracks of Radar V. It never crashed on me in 4 years!

I don’t know maybe I am being sentimental here but I loved his old Radar system. I am using Logic and Mixbus 32C in my personal rig and it took quite a bit to get used to Logic. Mixbus not so much.

But I despise using a mouse and keyboard to make music. Ah well, I’m not so young anymore. Maybe I will find that dream Radar 6 setup someday.

Glad to see IZ’s website back up and running.

I owned 5 Radar V's...
Then moved onto Radar 6's...

Now have a 6, and a few Radar Studio models.

All I can say,
The 5 and 6 were the last of the GREAT RADAR SYSTEMS, and without a doubt the most reliable!

This is certainly a much updated site from when I was checking them out a year ago. Not sure what that means.
