Yeah it's pretty bright with very little low end

. I recorded it with an MC930 into a Tascam DR-70.
Luckily, I found a local guy who does repairs if I need it in the future. There's also a phonograph sub-Reddit as well as a phonograph website kind of like GS. You can get a recorder head and blank cylinders and record with it too- I'll give it a try whenever I get those.
I also have a nice plaster bust of Beethoven, and if I ever make a real studio in my basement the bust and phonograph will figure prominently in it.
The last musical thing I really really want is some medieval sheet music to frame and put on my wall. A local antiquarian store had a couple a number of years ago that were beautiful, but I was broke at the time and the store has closed now. They can be pretty expensive.
