Lynx Aurora 16 + Crane Song Avocet IIA

Hey guys,

I'm a long time follower, but this is one of my first posts.

I'm running a laptop system in my studio, based around a Lynx Aurora 16 with LT-TB Thunderbolt expansion. Works like a charm.

I'd like to add a high end listening DAC and monitor controller to the setup, and I'm considering the Crane Song Avocet. Now I'm wondering if someone could tell me: Will the Aurora let me use the LT-TB for I/O, and at the same time send an AES/EBU signal to the Crane Song? In this setup, the Crane Song would receive the listening mix digitally, and the Aurora would simultaneously deal with the analog hardware I/Os, like synths, outboard etc., and running it all through the LT-TB Thunderbolt cable.

Hope this question makes sense, but feel free to ask if I'm not being clear.

Best,
Martin

Thank you so much, jdier. I guess I really should have been able to find that info, but the Lynx forum was one place I didn't check.

Looks like I'm putting in an order for an Avocet, then!

Thanks again, much appreciated.
