Phase response and loudspeaker quality

I found a very good article explaining phase response and loudspeaker quality, to summarize, the phase response of a loudspeaker is very important because it defines the speaker's transient response, a linear phase response + linear amplitude response would be perfect.

This also explains why my experience on Wilson Audio XLF was so good, proves they are doing it the right way. And I guess heavily DSP cooked monitors like Kii Three is doing it on the digital signal domain(to compensate for the imperfect phase response of crossover+driver), coaxial speakers like Genelec Ones are doing it physically by putting all the drivers acoustic center in the very same place.

I guess this is not news for many pros here, just want to share anyway
