48v dead! Tegeler Audio Manufaktur German Valve Recording Channel Compressor EQ

Any tech heads out there that could help me speculate what might have made the 48v phantom go down on this pre amp?
Its a transformer balanced tube pre - eq- compressor channel strip.

Just i'm selling it and wondered if its worth fixing, I personally never noticed it till I tested it cause I use tube mics and dynamics.

Any likely story for this sort of thing?

Yeah I knew it would be a tricky one to answer it could have been anything lets face it.
I fixed it anyway and just want to put this here in case anyone lands on this thread looking for help for a similar thing.

The Zener regulator had failed, was very cheap and easy to replace, but only undertake this if you have the right gear to test and know what your doing!
