Adam A77x isolation

Hey all,

I recently bought a pair of Adam a77x's and currently have them sitting on top of my Amek Angela VU meter , which i do not particularly like. So i want to put them on stands just behind the console.

The floor is laminate sitting on pure cement so nothing too resonant there like hardwood floor or anything.

Question is , do i have to isolate them from stands? I recently saw these ISO Pucks , i get why someone would need it when they have them sitting on their desk , but do I need them when the Adams sit on the stands with the concrete floor below ?

Stands are the cheap Millenium BS-500

Thanks for your time guys!

Get some sorbothane hemispheres. Use this page to calculate which you'll need:
https://www.sorbothane.com/Data/Site...othane-SPG.pdf

This is per-unit, so calculate using three or four per speaker.

Much cheaper and incredibly effective.
