UA Apollo with Thunderbolt and Apogee Rosetta 200

Hey guys,

currently I am using a Windows PC Setup with Thunderbolt connection to the UA Apollo 16. Getting sound from NS 10M through a Desktop console system from UA.

I want to get my Apogee in this Setup but I am not sure about how I can do this using the Apollo as Master. I also wonder about the sense using Rosetta in this Setup.

When I connect the Audiosignals from Apollo to Rosetta then analog to the NS 10M I am just hearing clicks and wrong conversion, simply oversampling audio signals.

How do I connect them in the right way and how should both work in a setup?

Is it an upgrade using Rosetta 200 for the conversion? Or should I simply let the Apollo and buy other stuff to upgrade the setup?

Thanks in advance

AES in from Apollo, aes to Apollo from Rosetta, set apogee as master, have aes mirror the monitor out for speaker control. It’s a great combo!

Yes for the other models. The Apollo 16 has aes, the ones with preamps I’ve spdif. It would work the same otherwise.

I tend to get intermittent static though. Do you think I should invest in a clock?

I think the clicks for me are coming from the spdif connection
