High End Gear at Low End Prices

hi all,

looking at my modest gear collection, I notice some high end pieces that I picked up for low end prices. Such examples are: John Hardy M1, at $450 a channel. Tonelux Equalux, also at $450 a channel. Daking Mic Pre/EQ at $900 total, again $450 for a pre and the same for the eq.

These prices are breaking into the low end area, but the Hardy and Tonelux and Daking are straight killer pieces, tools I use in my studio every single day without worry. I've spent more than $450 on Warm and ART gear, and those have left the rack. Does anybody have any other examples of high end gear scraping the low end price range? Thank you all
