Or alternatively the AA version is very similar to a Neumann at a fraction of the cost.
I don't think the Bonedo recordings are very impressive, the vocals sound terrible.

and give me your opinion, that'd be really helpful. In that example, I do like the 47fet sound. That's what I'm after, really. I just think it's overkill to pay that much for a kickout mic. And, again to my ears, the Horch recordings sound collapsed.

The lastest edition of Chris at Barbaric Amplification and me playing with this Samar TF08 capsule is the 49-circuit without local feedback with a 5840W tube and a Mohawk Studios B5887 6.5:1 “black box” transformer.

These samples are your’s truly working out the rust after not really playing much at all for the past 15-years. Mic was literally thrown up and these are the one and only passes.

On drums, mic at top of kick height, 3ft and 1ft out. Pre is a Shelford and set for nothing but it’s gain.
