Cool. I'll just have that API drop shipped to my local Wal-Mart store and pick it up when I go buy my toilet paper and various groceries.

Yea, Sub-Par Vending.

When a company like Alto Music gets into High End Audio Equipment, they lump it in with all the other musical trinkets and doodads that they sell, so inevitably this happens when a larger less focused company puts its entire catalog online. Specialized boutique items will become lost within a sea of low end junk. Many companies have no problem putting these items right next to Guitar Picks and Strings. That's just the way the market has been going. I bet Alto's Amazon Store is being "assimilated" by the Wal Mart Store. A sure fire tactic to get more coverage from SEO. The more they "optimize" it, the easier it is for you to reach the item you seek online.

Out of principle I don't shop at Walmart. I think once a year I am forced to go because of some emergency, and I feel guilty.

They sound different depending on where you buy them, I have purchased and tested the following:

Vintage King- sounds warmer and more vintage

Sweetwater- gear has a sweeter tone

Alto- a little deeper sounding than Soprano

Walmart- sound thin and cheap
