Undertone MEQP-1. Opinions?

I just became informed of this unit and wondering if anybody was using them & what your opinions are. I was looking at more of a Chandler TG2 channel strip, but just wondering how this might compare. Does the Eq sound "colorful"? Just any input would be really helpful

I've owned the MPEQ-1, The TG2, and the TG Channel, and they are all great units. I personally preferred the TG2 preamp to the one in the TG Channel, and the MPEQ-1 is perhaps more USA sounding, and is so smooth and even you might think it was a tube amp -- and is a tad darker in comparison to the TG -- at least first version of the MPEQ-1 w/ the larger transformer. I preferred the EQ on the UTA, but they are both excellent. I did not find the MPEQ EQ to be overtly colored. Certainly the pre is less colored than the TG2.

Thanks! Any other users or just general opinions on the unit?
