SSL FX G 383 LPF Mod

Hi guys,
I´ve recently purchsed a vintage SSL FX G383 EQ.

I was wondering about the fact that there is no pot for the LPF on the front panel.
My understanding is that the 383 uses the original 292 G EQ card, and that both filters (HPF+LPF) are on this card, no?

Has anyone ever tried to mod this device, to activate the LPF?

use an EQ on sidechain input and press the sidechain button on the front panel.

T_R_S - Gertius is referring to the G383 Stereo Mic Pre/EQ rackmount, not the Bus Compressor.

I just had a look at a pic from inside, it does look like two 292 cards so theoretically you could access them but where are you gonna put the pots? The front panel is pretty full!

Hi guys,
thanks for your replies!
DistortionPlus, you´re right, I am referring to the Mic Pre/EQ unit G383.

I was thinking about where to put the pots, and I think that´s the smallest problem.
It´s gonna be installed in a rack, so I could theoretically even mount the pots in an empty rackpanel next to the unit and have some wires connecting them.

I am interested in how to do this electronically though.
I don´t quite understand the LPF section of the 292 schematics (see attached). There is no pot, and the section seems to have two inputs and one output...
