Johnny B at Tape Op bought the first one from me in the US....so you'll see a review shortly in Tape Op. We've only had a few for sale, they are hard to get! I think there is about 6 of them in the USA right now, all with happy homes.....

It is surprisingly easy to use (important in a 3 band) and a novice can make it sound good, something I was thankful for as 3 band units can get complicated in a hurry. It has two unique features: 1) "air" on the top band which routes the audio above 10K or so around the compressor and sums it back in at the end [post compression] so it never gets "dark", and 2) the BIG feature on the low band, the "filter in the detector" idea we used in the 1969ME and has been used in other buss compressors. I also like the layout with the crossover on the left and the bypass on the far right of each band-so you really hear what it does on each band clearly. Well thought out unit that will be one of those "go to's" in the studio.
