NEVE 34128 lunchbox

how expensive and labor intensive would it be to take two NEVE 34128 channels and make a lunchbox to record on a boat??

Hi

They run on +/-15v so you need a power supply for that, and they don't have channel outputs as the drive to the pan pot is -2.5dBu and not enough spare juice after the pan pot and slugging resistors to drive a transformer.

So you need a buffer amp to follow it - possibly a 5532 in push pull or a That Inc 1646.

Then the hardware to mount the, wiring, xlrs, 15 pin Amphenol sockets, etc.

Then paying the tech to do it...

I don't do this stuff now, you could try contacting a local tech.
