Here for the gear

Nice! Now he only needs to fix his uni-brow........

I think the Fraggles were big U47 users as well.

The capsule is perfectly level with the nose so it can capture all the nasality in great detail.

The Beesneez James was designed for 'nasaly' singers. If you were legitimately looking for suggestions :P

Actually, all jokes aside, I was just thinking about this last night during a session realizing how the M49 is the best mic I've ever used for this application.

An SM7B duct taped to your cheek is the best solution. All the Muppets know that.

An Sm7b could almost pass for a muppet.

I guess this thread's a joke, but as a singer with a bit of nozze in the tone--some of the best advice I got was from a vocal instructor who said to think of your voice projecting from the front of your nose/ face--it works!

She'll just make James Brolin do it.

Actually (if this video is to be believed) it's GOT to be a vintage 251... Idina Menzel - aka India Minstral (according to John Travolta ) has the MOST nasal voice I've ever heard on a professional singer.

In the recording she's listenable but when she does the song from "Frozen" LIVE! on TV shows, in concert, etc. she's so nasal it makes me want to punch cute and fuzzy bunnies

Someone should ask her if she sometimes bumps her nose on the mic, because the M49 is a very big microphone.
