Elysia mpressor vs xpressor

hi guys,

I was wondering about the main (sonic) difference between the mpressor and the xpressor, besides the more sophisticated EQ section in the mpressor?
I mean it is the same company, a very similar design and everything.
So I wonder if the mpressor has just more features compared to the xpressor or if it even "sound" better?

thanks

the xpressor has a mix knob, the mpressor does not
the xpressor has a side chain filter, the mpressor does not, but has the eq instead
the xpressor has a "warm" button, the mpressor does not
i guess you already did your homework and know these differences.
tonally they are not so different i find, though the mpressor sounds deeper to me, and lets you create more crazy compression curves. for the money, the xpressor is a beast! the mpressor goes the extra mile.

Spot on! The Mpressor is more creative and the Xpressor is more of a bargain. Both great tools though on the cleaner side of comps.
