Rare gear

I have a Quad Eight AM-2B compressor with attatched de-esser . . . . . only one I have ever seen. Any of you know any background info?

Curious . . . . what strange pieces of gear some of you have laying around.

I have an Orban 414A stereo/dual mono compressor. I traded a Beyer M500 for it and I've never seen another one. Any idea what it's worth? I keep checking Ebay and it hasn't come up.

Michael, the compressor that's below your Quad 8, the Innovonics or whatever it's called, what are they good on? I've seen them in quite a few racks but I've never had the chance to try one. How old are they?

Right now, I have a pair of Sheffield Labs C9 mics sitting in the next room. I think that would qualify as quite rare. Quite amazing as well. Wish they were mine...

Anybody else had the pleasure to plug one of those up?

Chris, what did you pay for it? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth sending it back to Orban to be fixed.

I've got a Manley 1-1/2 rack space Vari-Mu with the VTL logo (very early Manley) as well as 2 single space Manley mono Vari-Mu's all of which are rare.

Oh and my EXR EX-IV Aural Exciter w/noise gate and LED meters.
Anyone know where I can get maual for this thing? It has three modes A,B,C. with H/L switch?

The Innovonics 201 was a broadcast limiter that many use for drums and hard guitars.

Hey guys,
Ya'll inspired me to ask... I am the caretaker of the Mausoleum section of our website. If any of you have have some good shots of some of our old corpses that are lacking proper resting places in our crypt, would you mind emailing them to me at [email protected] ?

I am specifically looking for pix of rare Manley zombies listed here. (or any others I forgot about)

Audiogaff: Can you get me a good picture of your 1 1/2U mono Vari Mu Limiter Compressor Amplifer? Without flash glare if possible...

Thanks-- Vanimal, keeping the UNdead alive!
