Lyndsey Buckingham open heart surgery

Lyndsey Buckingham is recovering following emergency open heart surgery, reports seem to suggest that his vocal chords have been damaged during the procedure.

So pleased he is recovering, wish him a speedy journey to FULL recovery.....He's had a stressful year.

His vocal cords may have been damaged as a result of an infection. I don't see how heart surgery itself could have had an effect.

Yes, I was thinking that myself......This is according to his wife, Kristen......of course news reports are not always accurate.

It'll take a week for the story to get completely straightened out, unfortunately.

Update: FWIW, I read the LB Wiki article. I see his wife doesn't specify what caused what. It just occurred to me that, maybe, they had to put a tube down LB's throat or something, and that caused vocal cord damage.
