How good is Mixbus at MIDI?

Hello.

Is Mixbus good at dealing with MIDI in general?

Are there any known issues regarding MIDI?

Can it be used for fingerdrumming (multiple sounds being triggered in a short amount of time) or will there be latency problems?

Thanks.

It's functional but pretty basic compared with some other DAWs...you can get an overview of its MIDI capabilities and missing features in this review: https://www.admiralbumblebee.com/mus...i-Editing.html

I imagine version 6, whenever that comes out, will have some MIDI improvements; the Ardour website has some hints on things they're working on. But Mixbus was originally envisioned primarily as a tool for recording, editing, and mixing audio, and the MIDI features are not as fully developed.

Thanks, man.
