bellari rp220
I'm in the process of researching getting a bellari rp220 from the states for use in Australia. I recently used one over there and liked it alot, but it's hard to get here.
I'm wondering of there is any modification needed to the unit for use in Australia, (240volts system here). can i just change a fuse or something or do i need a transformer...i here with valve gear this is a little tricky sometimes?
appreciate any feedback

You need to find out if it has a 110/240 switch, either internally or externally. if it doesnt then you will need a $60 step down transformer.

or you could get a tech to install a new transformer inside but that will be more expensive.

the only specs regarding power are as follows:

*Power 120VAC (230VAC) 15VA

dunno how that relates towhat i'm wondering tho.
either way, even with buying a transformer AND freight, the australian supplier is still charging too much.

good, the fact that it has 230 in brackets means it most likley has a switch.

cool, but does that mean i still need a transformer to take it down to 230? sorry if a dumb question....coz we work on 240, and i've heard that you have to be really specific for valve gear with voltage
