Broken Sennheiser e835

Hey folks. Got a broken Sennheiser here and was wondering if anyone could shed some wisdom on my situation. I plugged it in the other day and noticed pretty much all of the low end was rolled off. Sounded like a telephone going through a neve! Anyway, I opened it up to take a look, one of the three thin copper wire leads was detached from the spindle of wire around the capsule. I included a picture, I dont have a proper macro to show too much of the detail but you can kind of see a wire sticking away from the lead. I was wondering where the heck I could solder this back on. Straight to the spindle? Is there a hidden lead I'm not seeing? Any help would be appreciated!

I have the same exact issue. I can't find a lead to solder it either. I'm thinking about just upgrading to a mmd945 or m80 capsule and skip the trying to fix it part. Have you had any luck yet?
