I've bought lots of the marconi style knobs from Analog Classics. They donlt always have all the different colors but theyre good for the price.

It cracks me up that my thread is still going strong 7 years later 🤣

Fortunately, I never bought those knobs, so maybe now's my chance!

Yes,
I know what you mean.

In 2009, 11 years ago I posted on the ProdigyPro Forum, nowadays renamed Groupdiy, about some way of producing Neve Marconi reproduction knobs.
At that time I could only buy knobs from AMS Neve and the cost was 35€ for each knob.
I suggested the knobs to be produced in China for a lower cost because 35€ for that knob was an outrage, people bashed me out and closed the thread.

After 11 years there's reproduction Neve Marconi knobs everywhere for very cheap...

Oh Well!

you did well, my friend.

not the only outrage;
the console company relying on its historical laurels,
claiming ownership of the design of VEMALINE knobs,
even hassling fabricators that used them in their products.

V E M A L I N E

good they are now available from another source.

Yes Very True.

But it didn't help the fabricator to have just put a C before the company name.
A different name could have been used...
