Replacing Built-In Juno HS-60 Speakers

Has anyone put new speakers in the HS60 (like a Juno 106 but with built in speakers)? The right speaker has somewhat disintegrated and both should be replaced. I don't see how to remove the particle board housing that the speakers are set in. I hope I am wrong, but it looks like the entire bottom must be removed. Tips on speaker removal and good drop in replacements would be super cool! Thanks!!!

wondering if you guys ever did this? my speakers are shot too. not sure if they are really worth replacing but if you guys found a cheap and decent solution it might be worth it. also i'm wondering if a guy had a juno 106 panel could that be installed on a hs-60 if you removed the speakers?

Visaton R 10 S (No. 2036) is a 4Ω drop-in replacement and is available from Parts Express in the US for around $15-$20 / pr.

I did this with a Juno 106s.

I used small drivers (happened to be the same size as the originals, lucky) from a projection TV I cannibalized.

Worked like a charm. Just find drivers that fit and match impedance.
