Soundelux e47 Mic Repair

So the unspeakable has finally happened -- a musician knocked over the Soundelux e47 and broke it...

I want to send it out for repair, and I've got the info on the Soundelux site, but just wanted to throw it out to the room...

Is there a particular tech I should contact? Anyone have good or bad experiences to report? I'm just looking for repair info related to Soundelux microphones.

Thanks so much...Cheers -- JB

i'd send it back to david bock. first maybe check that the tube didn't come unseated or something simple like that.
then, shoot the musician.

e47 mic repair

+1 - Check the tube and seating, then, if necessary...

David Bock, Bock Audio website:

For non-warranty Bock service, contact:
James Gangwer, Studio Equipment Specialist
Phone: (510) 912-0515
Fax: (707) 929-7928

or, as mentioned, talk with Tracy Korby and staff:

Korby Audio Technologies
(615) 383-8797

...and there are more:
Klaus Heyne,
Andy Barrett,, etc.

Part sourcing and availability of each craftsman may be limited, but they may be able to recommend someone further to help you.

Then maybe a Latch Lake micKing or On-Stage SMS7650 for stability and protection next time...?
