Try Group DIY. They've discussed 2520 clones to death.

You wont find a copy of the 2520 on group diy... And I think tonymite knows better to ask them anyway. They don't like people who steal non-profit designs and try to sell them...

That schematic has been around a while and is known to be innacurate. I don't have a correct schematic, so I can't tell you what the errors are. I can tell you that it's a lot more fun (and educational) to design your own discrete op amp.

Here's a document you don't need to feel bad about stealing ideas from, and it has just about everything you need:

Is the 2520 really a non-profit design?

No it is not. It is still used in currect production, that is why you won't find it on GroupDIY.

People on GroupDIY won't help tonymite because he and his cousin have be using the Gyraf projects in a blatant, yet terribly poor attempt at starting a company.

No worries, mate. They will be leaked at a later time, to be known as "The Gearslut Papers".

If anyone wanted to copy that opamp, it's not that hard. The real question I would ask is why when one can just buy one for a few dollars?
Is it public domain, meant to be used by anyone freely?
If for profit, is that ok with API? The 990 is a public domain design as an example. I have some made by Pacific Recorders down here in Oceanside.

For the same reasons that there are people who love high speed IC opamps.
