IEM help needed re: the wireless 2012 changeover!

Bit confused as to whether I should be buying this or not :

I've seen it cheaper at £199 GBP new, but my issue is this wireless frequency changeover in 2012. Will these still work for me? They operate at a frequency range of 740-770MHz. Is that still going to work?

I'm a bit lost with the various ranges that will/won't work in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Unless I'm mistaken, the 740-770Mhz band will still be ok, according to this :

They will all work - the Brittish isles don't have magical RF properties....

Interference from other radios and the local constables is the only issue. Judging by history, a simple, straigh answer is not forthcoming.

Just go to a reputable music equipment retailer and ask him what he has that's post-2012 compliant. If you already have a unit, see what you can get on trade-in for it or just use it until it doesn't work where you gig.

Hey - yeah, I know they'll work, but will they be legal?!
