Dangers of pushing pre-valves?

I have a relatively quick question.

I'm thinking about getting some sort of boost pedal for my Orange Tiny Terror, but I know the pre-valves are already getting beat pretty hard when I push the gain a bit. How much can the valves in the pre take before I need to seriously consider getting "on-call" replacements?

Lives for gear

Hi
Preamp valves are rarely 'pushed' at all and usual designs run them at much less than 50 percent of what they can handle. In fact, pushing them into 'clipping' probably REDUCES the dissipation as they become 'digital (on or off).
Don't worry about it.
