digidesign 192 - are there any tests/specs ?

Wondering if anyone has had the digi192 AD/DA on the testbench and have the cold, hard facts on how it measures ? Digi´s own specifications do not say much.

Just curious, I guess.

So, I had this same question, and apparently, the answer is STILL "no".

Frequency response of HD interface - Avid Audio Forums

I'm re-asking. I don't have appropriate equipment to actually test the units, or I would do it myself. Has anyone ever produced the frequency response curve for the Digi 192 AD converters (specifically the 0-96KHz curve)? Or any other converters, for that matter?

Do any of these units actually capture anything above 20 KHz? If so, what?

Why not use the 192 itself? There is plenty of audio measurement software out there (even fuzz measure or room eq wizard will work) to give you are ball park figure.

If your plan is to get an idea of the frequency bandwidth of the unit, just blast a frequency range sweep out the DA and record the results through the AD into the appropriate software.
