mod'ing the Alesis Nanocompressor...?

So, some techies have been attempting mods to the Alesis 3630 comp with success... can this apply to the nanocompressor as well ?

Any links on what to do to those ?

It would be cheaper, and yeild better results to just unload it on ebay and buy an FMR RNC.

Some turds aren't ment to be polished...

If you use that idea, there would never have beenm a 10.00 second Chevey Vega with a dual quad 350 CID heh

I thought this forum was called low end theory

For the small price of one of these... where's your sense of adventure...?

I've certainly modified higher end gear as well as low end gear without fear of making it sound better.

As a side project... I'm lookin' for any worth while mods to make cheap gear sound better.

I have done several years ago. I can't recall what. It was probably opamps.

I just got one and it's not bad at all for dirty compression, sounds great on drum room mics but... I'd like to improve it in any way I can so any pointers are most welcome

Do you have a schematic? That’s a great place to start. Pics of the inside? Is everything surface mount or through hole?
