30VAC 600 mA PS???

Recently picked up a Tube Works 4001 tube DI on eBay. So far so good. Catch is, it came without the wallwart PS, which is 30VAC/600 mA.

Anyone have any ideas where I could find one? (Even better if it's 230V and in Europe, but I'm not going to be too choosey!)

Any 18VA (or higher) transformer that outputs 30VAC will work. If in the states, you need a 4:1 step-down. Japan would need a 3.3:1 step-down and ROW (rest of world) needs an 8:1 step-down.

Then, all you have to do is find the right plug. Make sure to measure diameters for the the post on the inside and the hole.

Here for the gear

Took a quick look at some electrical engineering supply sites and found nothing that would fit the bill, in a comsumer package.

Tiney's suggestion will work great but you will most likey not find one ready to plug-in. It depends on how confortable you are messing with wires.

Have you tried asking the guys at Genz-Benz? They should know where to get them or might even have one kicking around.
