Simple patchbay set up... look okay?

I am making the conversion from onyx 1640 and logic to Digi 003r and I want to make sure it's going to go smoothly

Snake from live room is going directly into preamps

Ext. Preamp outs 1-8| Line Outputs 1-4 | Effects Out 1-12 |
Line Ins 1-8 | Line Outputs 5-8 | Effects In 1-12 |

Preamp to line ins are normalled, everything else denormalled.
Any way to make this better with less patching? Should I rack the main, alt and aux in? Why the hell is phantom power on the back??? I will be using protools with my outboard compressors, EQ and spring reverb. Thanks dudes!

Boring I know, but I think this would help out TONS of kids like me getting into recording bands. This seems like the blueprint of the standard project studio set up these days...

You should consider a balanced, half-normalled PB point between at least one of the lines and the associated pre, in case you want to record in the control room.
