powering rack gear

hey everybody, i want to mount some power strips on the back of my racks to power up the outboard gear. anyone have opinions on what the best power strips for this applications is? thanks! travis

If you have wall warts, make sure you have enough spacing.

I like to hard wire an IEC inlet to the power strips and then use a 15A cable to keep the set-up clean.

We use a couple of the Furman "Pluglok" strips on portable racks. These have a bracket that locks down a wall wart so they don't fall out easily. Quite happy with them actually.
