Help with finding SSM2044 chip polysix

Greetings,

I hope everyone is doing well and keeping as safe as possible.

I am currently fixing my polysix. I recently took it to a synth repair shop. The technician informed me that one of my SSM2044 chips are dead and is not giving any resonance. I was informed by him to not purchase the knockoff versions on ebay. I went to syntuar.com however, they are sold out. So im out of ideas and wondering if the community can offer some advice on purchasing an authentic SSM2044 chip.

Thank you!

They work fine - after an original chip died in mine, I ordered six (to minimize differences) along with the adaptor boards. You could even sell the other working chips when you're done.
