Is my Omega Finally dead?

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this.

I have a Lexicom Omega that had developed a bad buzz. I plugged everything to same outlet? plugged it into a new circuit altogether, added a ferrite block and the buzz is still there.

I measure the voltage and it is 10.7V. would 1.7 extra voltage cause buzz? That would seem very sensitive to voltage.

I would prefer not change the interface if possible. I really do like all the inputs being behind the interface.

let me know if you have encountered this, and possibly solved it.

The buzz could be an earth loop with whatever you have plugged into it.
Remove all audio plugs.
Plug in a pair of headphones only and listen.
If its quiet, you have a ground loop.
Plug in the cables you pulled out, one at a time, while listening on headphones.
If it still buzzes with no cables in, it could be a power supply problem.
Are you using the Lexicon supplied power supply?
If not, thats probably your problem.
