Found a bag full of tubes

Was doing some spring cleaning and found a bag of old RCA and Sylvania tubes, plus some old mallord switches. One old RCA dual (looks weird) potentiometer. Any of you smart people see anything good here?

Not a lot there that end up in modern guitar amps... But, you have spares! So, time to look up the ones you have and figure out how to use them.

bag of vacuum tubes

many are for AM radios, 5 tube AC-DC type with hot chassis,
some of the octal tubes for radios that used a power transformer.
there are collectors and radio restorers that use those tubes.

The Sylvania 12AT7 is a good audio tube for preamp use.

The 6AU6A was used in the Sony C800G. Some DIY guys will mod 12AX7 circuits to use the 6AU6A.

A fun place to while away the vintage hours and look up old tubes is: The Valve Museum
