Unhappy Novation only sends 'Note ON'

Hi everyone,

So I've been trying to fix two dead keys in my Novation Impulse 61 MIDI keyboard.

A proper inspection revealed some carbon dust which I was able to clean and make one of the dead keys functional G5. The other one (C4) however, is now not completely dead, but only sends NOTE ON signal. Today, before writing here, I did open it up again and gave the circuit board a proper clean but still no luck.

As an additional measure, I had checked all diodes and contacts on the faulty PCB...they all seem to be working ok to the best of my knowledge.

Any ideas? Am I missing something?
