Corcom TE 3EC1 F7282 RFI EMI Filter IEC Power Entry Module???

Do these work? I ran across them building a parts list for a power supply for my console. I don’t really have an EMI/RFI problem but they’re not expensive and you don’t have a problem till you do. The added protection would be great peace of mind.

They are fine until the caps in them blow up. I wouldn't bother with them.

I've used them here for 25+ years. They are effective in reducing hf power line noise. The two stage designs work best. Be sure you select them with enough current so they won't "blow".
