How to fix the broken lights on a classic Furman PL8?
I’ve got a half dozen of these classic PL8’s floating around my studio with broken lights (not bulbs of course). Can’t find a single video on how to repair the light fixtures. Is it the dimmer or something? Can someone point me in a direction to a DIY solution?
no one? Puleeeeease..... let there be light... again!
It may be an IC. Analog to digital converter or LED driver. Possibly power to either is down due to a bad capacitor or other supporting component. Guessing here. Obtain the schematic. Not a complicated device, so opening it up and referring to the schematic and using a multimeter is your path to success.
