Removing backlight inverter Reverb/Delay Processors (HW)

Removing backlight inverter

I put a LED screen in my SDD3300, which went fine, but has left the inverter for the original backlight unconnected and noisy as hell.
Unfortunately, the inverter isn't off to the side, so unplugging it doesn't seem to be an option.

Wondering what the protocol is. Do I unsoldered the inverter and add jumpers? Can I just short the + and - pins on the backlight connectors? I seem to remember that kills the noise, but it doesn't feel too safe.

Many thanks!

Thanks. Pulled T1 and the noise is gone.

Putting the faceplate back on was a PITA since the new screen bulges out. Finally got it to fit behind the original mount, but it's a really tight fit. Probably should have sanded the screen edges down a tiny bit.

Also, the buttons stopped responding, but rebooting while holding "program" must be how to do a factory reset on a SDD3300 because that solved it. I had changed the battery at the same time, so had a hunch that it might need a reset.
