I like the MK2.

and M950.

Strangley, I percieve the differences in the colors of thee microphones almost like tuning differences (in pitch), with MK2 beeing the jaded one (what I like in these samples, because it sounds so pleasant), and the rest going from there to brilliant (or brighter as some would say).

I preferred the MK22, and the 950. I only listened to the first set of clips though.

I liked the MK22 because it was so natural and open.

I like the 950 because it had this glow to it that sounded like it had been perfectly eq'd with the most amazing eq ever.

I also liked the M300 - it had a nice body to it - very neutral but detailed capture.

For flemenco - my preference goes to the MK22.

MK22 gets the vote here on a first loud playback on headphones (ATH m50)

but after listening more , i feel like Schoeps is neutral -doesn't mess with the source much ,where all Gefells have some nice low mid colour which i really,really like - it adds something emotionally to the performance and it's more apparent in second set of files .
In the end i'd probably choose some Gefell for final mix and i bet all my clients would choose Schoeps - it's somehow safer choice .
I must say i usually prefer really "coloured" (darker ?)recordings that's why i prefer MK22 to MK2 too ,but really all these recordings sound damn fine and there's no wrong pick here .

Indeed they all sound good. I prefer the 22 as it seems the most natural sounding, but in a busy mix some of the brighter ones may be better. Or the 22 with some eq...

Finally got around to properly listening to these and, while my overall favorite was the MK22, I loved the M300s too. GAS crisis averted (for today at least) :D
