this is a test we did years ago, in the y2k i think.
when making a mic-pre A/B test, for the recording of a record.
others mic-pre tested were hhb radius 10, amek 9098,
but files for the others was never recorded.

AD is the 888/24 @ 48k - 24Bits

signal chain:
e-mu planet phat rack -->imp2-->john hardy m-1 "recorded HT + a bit overloaded gain trim---->888/24 @ 48k-24bits
vs.
Original E-mu Phat Soundfont.sf2 "DRY"

same .mid
some Emu rack units are not 44.1khz, are 36k/32k or something.

i think the john hardy M-1 had the in+out jensen transformers.
